
The old premises of Scope Leasing Limited were unfortunately damaged beyond repair in a fire. Vanguard were commissioned to build a new facility that would be an integral part of Scope Leasing’s future business plans.

The first phase of the project – demolition of the old site, excavations and groundworks completed. Includes preparation works to enable building of the portal frame.

With preparation works in place, the portal frame steelwork is erected to form the shell of the new building. Years of experience in erecting structural steel frames really pays off.

Installation of cladding rails and cold bridge details to perimeter elevations to form the substrate that will hold the ‘skin’ of the building.

Roof has been installed including safety features such as perimeter edge protection and underside netting.

With the roof complete, work now begins on installing slab insulation and shuttering works in preperation for the 150mm thick powerfloat-finished slab.

The new premises are really taking shape now… floors and walls go up underneath the finished roof.

Exterior cladding is now complete on 3 elevations. Perimeter blockwork, as per client spec, is under construction and the concrete slab floor has been laid and cured.

Mezzanine floor has been installed, complete with perimeter fire protection and single-landing staircase.
With structural works complete, M&E 2nd fix is now underway throughout the interior, ready for final finishing.

Lay-in grid for suspended ceiling, 2nd fix complete, internal and partition walls complete.
All that’s required to complete the new premises is the final finish.
