The Scope of Works comprised the removal of the rear of the unit, including an internal mezzanine area and office space below and reconstruction of a new gable end; the creation of 8 additional car parking spaces (including hardstanding, pedestrian foot path and thermoplastic white lining); and cutting back of all services within the main warehouse area.
The unit based in Birmingham was fully stripped out, back to its original shell specification within the warehouse area only, including all previous tenants’ fit out and M&E installations.
Demolition works included removal of a complete portal frame bay with asbestos roof cladding together with the existing gable end wall. The new build construction comprised of a new gable end wall, fire doors, associated steelwork, substructure and internal block-work skin.
External works comprised of forming 8 number car parking spaces, associated pedestrian footpath, yard concrete kerbing and thermo plastic white lining.
