This scope of work relates to a piece of land (3.87 acres) adjacent to and accessed by Copart’s existing facility at Sandy Beds.
The work comprised stripping the topsoil from the area (approximately 300mm all over) using some to form edge bunds and removing the remainder from site.
Provision of an impermeable membrane to the whole area along with a permeable drain pipe to the length of the area.
This was then filled with 250mm of open structure aggregate, this was covered with a permeable membrane and then finished with a top dressing of smaller stone to form the roadways and car storage areas.

Related works of re-forming existing drainage ditch to the Northern site boundary, removing self-sown willow saplings to one specified area, forming two accesses into the area, one bridge to Northern boundary, one access to the Western boundary & Installation of a Pumping Station together with a Class 1 By Pass interceptor and outfall to ditch.

Cable ducting for lighting and CCTV power installation and raised concrete plinths for installation of lighting and CCTV masts were also constructed.

Scope of works include Landscaping, Tree Felling, Surface Strip, Land Drains, cable ducting, Drainage, Pumping Station, Storm Interceptor, Surfacing, Roadways, Concreting, Culvert Crossing, External Lighting.
